Day 1 Beijing Arrival Transfer
On arrival, our guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the luggage lobby. You will be transferred to the well-located Beijing Grand Mercure Xidan Hotel**** for a three-night stay on a room and breakfast basis.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B L)
Seat-in-coach tour program:
07:30-08:30 Hotel pick up.
You will go to the Great Wall-Badaling Section, which is the worlds longest human-made structure, stretching over approximately 6,400 km (3,977 mi). It is also the largest human-made structure ever built in terms of surface area and mass.
In the afternoon, you will also go to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperors mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history-Chang Tomb. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program.
Day 3 Beijing (B L)
Seat-in-coach tour program:
07:30-08:30 Hotel pick up.
You will visit the Tiananmen Square-the biggest of its kind in the world, and the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)-which locates in the heart of Beijing, is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China. And you will also visit the Temple of Heaven, which itself has become a symbol of the city.
In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China. Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program.
Day 4 Beijing to Datong (B)
After dinner, transfer to the Train Station for a night train to Datong.
Day 5 Datong (B L)
Arrive in Datong in the morning, then you will be transferred to the well-located Datong Yungang International Hotel**** for a one-night stay on a room and breakfast basis.
After breakfast you will enjoy a full day sightseeing, including:
a. The Yungang Grottoes, 16 kilometers west of Datong, a coal-mining town, is one of the three largest grottoes in China (the other two being Longmen and Mogao Grottoes).
b. The Nine Dragon Wall is located in central Datong within the old city ramparts. The wall is decorated with brightly colored glazed tiles and carved dragons and animals.
Day 6 Datong to Beijing (B L)
Private car tour program:
08:00-09:30 Hotel pick up.
Enjoy a full day sightseeing, including:
c. The Hanging Temple, an architectural wonder in Chinese history for the temples hanging on the mountain cliff with the exquisite Buddhist statues in the temple.
d. The Wooden Pagoda is the oldest and highest wooden structure in China. It is regarded as the First Pagoda in the World and a gem in the architectural field. It has now also been placed under national emphases under the Cultural Relics Protection Units.
e. After dinner, transfer to the Railway Station for a night train back to Beijing.
Day 7 Beijing Departure Transfer (B)
Morning transfer to the Beijing International Airport to end the service.
