Day 1 Beijing Arrival Transfer
On arrival, Our guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the luggage lobby.
You will be transferred to the well-located Beijing Mercure Xidan**** for a four-night stay on a room and breakfast basis.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax.
Day 2 Beijing (B L)
Seat-in-coach tour program:
07:30-08:30 Hotel pick up.
You will visit the Tiananmen Square-the biggest of its kind in the world, and the Forbidden City (Imperial Palace)-which locates in the heart of Beijing, is the largest and most complete imperial palace and ancient building complex in China.
And you will also visit the Temple of Heaven, which itself has become a symbol of the city.
In the afternoon, you will continue to visit the Summer Palace, the most beautiful imperial garden in China.
Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program.
Day 3 Beijing (B L)
Seat-in-coach tour program:
07:30-08:30 Hotel pick up.
You will go to the Great Wall-Badaling Section, which is the worlds longest human-made structure, stretching over approximately 6,400 km (3,977 mi). It is also the largest human-made structure ever built in terms of surface area and mass.
In the afternoon, you will also go to the Ming Tombs area and visit the most famous emperors mausoleum of Ming Dynasty with 500 years history-Chang Tomb.
Transfer back to your hotel at the end of the program.
Day 4 Beijing
Today youll have a whole day free to relax yourself. (Breakfast)
Day 5 Beijing to Xian (B)
Transfer to the airport for a morning flight to Xian.
Arrive in Xian and transfer to the Grand New World Hotel Xian ****.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 6 Xian to Shanghai (B L)
Seat-in-coach tour program:
08:00-09:30 Hotel pick up.
Enjoy a full day sightseeing, including: a. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum-the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century and the eighth wonder of the world.
b. The Banpo Museum-the site of a typical Neolithic matriarchal community of the Yangshao Culture. The history of the museum can be dated back 6000 years.
c. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda-one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The temple was built about 648 AD by the order of Emperor Gao Zong, the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty.
You will be tranferred to the airport to take the flight to Shanghai. Accommodation:
Day 7 Shanghai (B L)
Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to the Broadway Mansions Hotel ****.
Take a private tour to visit the Jade Buddha Temple-where two rare jade statues of
Sakyamuni Buddha is treasured, and the Yu Garden- a classical garden in downtown Shanghai, boasts a history over 400 years. Each pavilion, hall, stone and stream in the garden is expressing the quintessence of South China landscape design from Ming and Qing Dynasty.
In the afternoon, you will go to the Shanghai Museum-located in the center of Shanghai in Peoples Square; it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The museum style and presentation surround visitors with artifacts demonstrating ancient wisdom and philosophy. The exterior design of the round dome and the square base symbolizes the ancient idea of a round heaven and a square land.
And then take a walk along the famous waterfront-Bund-to fully appreciate this diverse city.
Day 8 Shanghai Departure Transfer (B)
Transfer to the airport for your homeward flight. End of service.
