Day 1 Arrival Shanghai
Arrival in Shanghai , meet by guide an(d transfer to hotel for check in. Rest of the day free for adjust the jetlag.
Day 2 Shanghai

Transfer to center of the down town to visit the Shanghai Urban City Planning Exhibition Center where the most authoritative and complete development data and the future construction planning for the City of Shanghai are displayed, from this museum, you will get a full glance of Shanghai*s yesterday, today and tomorrow. Transfer to the Bund area and have an intensive walking tour of the Bund. Walking will be starting from the waterfront, after taking pictures of the both side the building, walk through the underneath path to the Peace Hotel, and the former HSBC building, and ends at Three on the Bund. Enjoy a Dim Sum lunch at the Whampoo Club from where you can enjoy the best view of the Bund during the day time. (A La Cart menu, on own expenses) Have a walking tour of Dong Tai Road Antique Street, a market of arts and crafts with some unique feature, dealing in old arts and crafts, including porcelain, jades, bronzes, wood articles, calligraphy and paintings, four treasures of the study (brushes, ink-stick, ink-stones and xuan paper), embroideries, and miscellaneous articles. Then transfer to the Taikang Road Art Street, it has owned the best art district of creative industry in Shanghai. Full of chic stores, art studios, art spaces, creative advertisement companies.
Day 3 Shanghai

Visit the Yu Garden 每 an elegant representative of Classical Garden in South of Yangtze Delta. Despite the crowded lanes and teeming masses, the garden remains an oasis of tranquility. Enjoy a little free time of shopping inside the Old Town Bazaar. Then transfer to the People*s Park, visit the Museum of Modern Art (MoCA Shanghai) located inside the park, periodical art exhibition will be held at this art museum. Lunch at Kathleen*s 5 at the rooftop of the next door Shanghai Art Museum (A La Cart menu, on own expenses) Visit to the Shanghai Museum, now ranked as one of the most outstanding museums in China. The museum hosts a rich collections of Bronze from Shang & Zhou Period, calligraphy Buddhist Stone Sculpture, ancient coins, Jade, Landscape paintings and minority costumes, the museum also often hosts the periodical exhibitions for other museums from all over the world. In the late afternoon, optional visit to the Han Feng Studio, Han Feng is one of the most sought-after designers in the world. She is a creative force known for her fashion accessories, ready-to-wear lines, design exhibitions, and stage costumes for the landmark theatrical production of Madama Butterfly and The Bonesetters Daughter.

Day 5 Hangzhou

Visit to the Linyin Temple, one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist temples in China. First built by an Indian monk Huili in 326AD during the Eastern Jin dynasty (317 - 420 AD), the temple was named Lingyin Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion) for its environment is very beautiful and serene and suitable for gods rest in seclusion. Continued to visit the China Tea Museum, where you can learn the history of Chinese tea and see the Kongfu Tea*s Demonstration. Transfer to the West Lake Xin Tian Di to have a lunch on your own (there are many restaurants for your selection), you can also explore the area after lunch.
Visit to the old Street ※He Fang Street§ - It is one of the most famous and historic streets in the city and reflects many of the features of the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). Visit to Chinese Medicine Museum ※Hu Qing Yu Tang§ - HuQing Yu Tang was set up in 1874 in the Qing Dynasty. Mr. Hu Xueyan, the originator, was one of the famous enterprises in late Qing Dynasty. Visit the former residence of Hu Xueyan, which was rated as the number one merchant*s residence in China in 19th century.

Day 6 Hangzhou

Depart hotel for the Flower Harbor, then take boat ride on the famous West Lake (Join in Basis) , held on three sides in the embrace of hilly peaks, this water wonderland has been an attraction for centuries and it is small wonder that it was a favorite imperial retreat. The lake and its environs have all the elements of a traditional Chinese garden but on a grand scale. Lunch at Dragon Well Manor (A La Cart menu, expenses on own) Have a relax walk in Guozhuang Garden, The garden lies in harmony with the picturesque scenery, for which it gets the name--the coronal of the West Lake classical garden. Enjoy a cup of tea at one of its pavilion facing to the West Lake. (Expense on own)

Day 7 Hangzhou-Qingdao

Transfer to the Mt. Laoshan, it is located on the shore of the Yellow sea. The highest peak of Laoshan Mountain is 1133 meters. Overlooking the sea, the mountain is characterized by the imposing canyon and undulating peaks and mystery. Visit to the Taiqing Temple, a Taoist Temple of the mountain.

Visit to the Museum of Qingdao Beer, Tsingtao beer Museum has the area of 6,000 square meters, with the whole wall built at frontage which is reconstructed for the European classical architecture style. It divides into three visit areas: a centenary history and culture produce techniques, multi-purpose area. And Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, the venue for thesailing competition at the 2008 Olympic Games Seafood dinner at a local restaurant
Day 9 Qingdao-Taiyuan-Pingyao

Ping Yao Ancient City is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a traditional Han Chinese city, founded in the 14th century. Its urban fabric shows the evolution of architectural styles and town planning in Imperial China over five centuries.Of special interest are the imposing buildings associated with banking, for which Ping Yao was the major centre for the whole of China in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking and viewing the places of interest inside the Pingyao Ancient City with your local guide, including the Ancient Ming and Qing Street, City Wall, Rishengchang Exchange Shop, etc.

Day 11 Pingyao-Taiyuan

Transfer back to Taiyuan, on the way to it, visit to the Qiao Family*s Compound, the compound one percent of the familys (fortune) asset. It consists of six main courtyards, twenty smaller courtyards and 313 rooms. The family built the complex like a castle for safety considerations, as well as to create tranquil surroundings in which to relax, away from the furious competition of the business world.
Arrive in Taiyuan in late afternoon, check in hotel.

Day 12 Taiyuan-Changsha-Zhangjiajie

Visit to the Hunan Provincial Museum, museum boasts a large collection of interesting Chinese artifacts: jade, lacquer, silks; I wont bother you with the minute details and proceed directly to the juicy, main event: the 2100 year-old, mumified corpse of the Marquis of Dai. And Yuelu Academy, It was founded in 976, the 9th year of the Song Dynasty under the reign of Emperor Kaibao, and was one of four most renowned Shuyuan (academies of higher learning). In 1903 the academy became a university, and in 1925 Hunan University was established at this site.

Full day visit to the Zhang Jia Jie National Forest Park: located in the northwest of Wulingyuan, it is in the neighborhood of Suoxiyu Valley and Tianzi Mountain. It has an area of 72,000 acres, an average rainfall of 1200-1600mm, an average temperature of 16oC and a frost-free period of 240-300 days. 97 percent of the park is covered with plants which have 98 families, 517 species, over twice the total in Europe. Its gymnosperm species take up half of the total in the world. Zhangjiajie opens to the outside at the beginning of the 1980s and is the earliest tourist zone exploited in Zhangjiajie. It is noted for its queer peaks, tranquil water and beautiful forests. It is the first National Forest Park approved by the State Council in 1982.
Take cable car up to the Mt. Tianzi, and take Bailong Elevator down (Bailong Elevator is a glass elevator built onto the side of a huge cliff which is 1,070 feet (330 m) high. This elevator is claimed to be the highest and heaviest outdoor elevator in the world.

Note: There are not many restaurants in Zhangjiajie and the local food is spicy, people at local restaurants do not speak any English and no English Menu, so we will pre arrange all you meals in this city.
Day 14 Zhangjiajie-Fenghuang

Continued to visit the Zhang Jia Jie National Forest Park: Huanshi Fort (cable car round-trip),
Golden Whip Stream, etc#

Transfer to Fenghuang Old Town (4.5 hours by road) This ancient town has a history of 1,300 years and it has a number of old gardens as well as distinctive residential buildings, elegant bridges and mysterious towers pagodas. Claimed to be one of the two most beautiful towns in China, Feng Huang Cheng sets an example of what villages were like before the start of modernization. In the town dozens of lanes are paved with stones that run between the wooden houses built on stilts. Generations of local people have stepped on the lanes and worn them down bit by bit. Mist envelopes the town in the early morning or after a rain, creating a charming picturesque scene of Southwest China

Day 15 Fenghuang
Fenghuang claim to be one of the two most beautiful towns in the whole of China Here dozens of alleys paved with flagstones run between the houses, each showing wear caused by the feet of generations of local people who have used them when going about their daily business. For the visitor, these alleys are the way to see the typical high gabled wooden houses built on stilts along the banks of the Tuo Jiang River at close quarters. Stretching diagonally from the northwest to southeast of the town, Tuo Jiang River is a life force of the local people. Here in its waters women wash their clothes and the men fish with their nets, while on the bank food is prepared in much the same way as it has for centuries. The river also provides a means for boatmen to support their families by ferrying tourists up and down stream so that they may admire the many splendours of the town. There are too many things for you to explore.  
Day 16 Fenghuang-Zhangjiajie-Shanghai

Transfer back to Zhang Jia Jie (4.5 hours by road)

Visit to the Tian Men Mountain (Heaven Door Mountain), take the cable car in world longest cableway from the downtown to the mountain(The cableway has a total length of 7455 meters and a height gap of 1279 meters. It is one of the few cable cars within China with a height gap over 1000 meters. The local gradient from the middle station to the upper station is as high as 37 degrees, which is rare in the world). Pass by Tongtiao Avenue (the avenue link to the sky) which is zigzag road with 99 turns.
